Punkin'

Here's another one of my lineworks that I was doing during my 'I wanna draw session'. A little bit different to what I tend to draw on, but somewhat similar as well I guess. Hopefully I get more time to just sit down and draw at some point! Exciting times to hopefully be had. What I really had fun with was mixing up one of my old 'background images', from a project at Uni, into this one. I guess playing around with how it could actually be useful in the long run. I also looked at not having black lines which was also interesting.

Lines

Another doodle! Really fast "sketch", which will probably be one of many. I started this one with something abstract in mind, but then it turned into something relatively normal. Oh well! I really love how this turned out!

Abstract 3!

I'm on a roll! Really feeling free with this theme, and I want to do more, but I might give it a break. Really love how the lines worked out on this one (and the concept is pretty funky too!). I look forward to just getting really expressionistic for a while with my work, or seeing where my creativity goes. Loving the line work still, more to be worked on!

Alas the abstract works continue! Here I've just had fun placing different drawn pieces together. I really like how this looks...perhaps the inner visual artist is coming through? It's fun!

Abstract

Well it's a new year still, so I'm trying out a few different genres. I've not really felt like drawing to start the year off, and it's been a bit of a struggle to get motivation, but I think I'm slowly gaining it again! Excellent! I'm still playing around with my linework, and ended up drawing this one. I took more care in refining the line work as well as cleaning it. It's something I still need to work on though. I really want to try a few more spontaneous drawings where I won't regard the proportion on purpose. There's always time to have fun and experiment! I'm happy with how this one rendered in the end. I sort of started with the face, and just kept going, then adding in a background. I hope to upload more!
