Fat Cat

Hello! I haven't updated anything in a while, it's getting pretty stressful with Uni! Alas, here is a rendered cat scribble, as there can never be enough cat scribbles. Currently I have a cat at home that is about to have kittens, so it's very much a joke image. You might also note the workings of my logo in the corner! Onwards to more work, and hopefully more blog posts, although it is very time dependent.
Enjoy!

Little lines

Hello! Here's some fun with the line weight again, and applying the established line work with humans, not just cats and seagulls. I really love how this shaped out, even if it was just a rough. I plan to go through a lot of the graphic novel pages I've previously done, and rework the lines to match, or be more sophisticated.
Enjoy!

Edgar Linework

Hello world of the blog! I'm in a writing mood! Here we have the linework, not final, but getting close to, of one of the scenes in the Edgar story. It's at this point where Harry gets kicked onto the top of a tram and all Edgar can do is watch helplessly (oh no!). I hope I've gotten you all curious about what the book is now! It's still a working process of course, but I'm really loving the relationship that I'm getting between the character and the line work. I keep going on about the line work! I'm not there yet, but I am getting there, so I'm really just enjoying my journey through these final projects. Enough rambling, back to working!
Enjoy!

Om nom nom

So I really felt the urge to draw a cat. I also know this is procrastination but I'm really enjoying these cat pictures. I decided to keep in the text that I wrote up with it this time, as I do write out the sayings each time, and I think it doesn't look half bad. I shall get onto proper Uni work now!

Party Wolf!

So what madness is this? This here is a party wolf! It's really based from
Zephaniah 3:3 "Her officials are roaring lions, her rulers are evening wolves,
who leave nothing for the morning."
So yes technically this is an "evening wolf" in his evening attire, ready to party to the early morning.  There were meant to be two, but as a novice in drawing wolves...yes it really is a struggle...I left it at one.
I do love the idea though! I plan on working on it more when I have the time and resources/ practice.
Enjoy!

The font used here is 'Lucida Sans'. I really don't like how I've tackled the font....I hope to get better at all that typography stuff at some point!

Scenery Ahoy!

Hello! So I know I haven't drawn anything for my graphic novel in ages....well since February....and so I thought I would just see how my different line work would go with one of the characters. What I have also done is mixed in the beach scene, kind of, from my independent project to see how well that line work will fit when a person is added. I really like what I achieved from this and I definitely hope to continue on this path. I also hope to restart my graphic novel once writers block clears up, oh it is a silly thing.
Enjoy!

Super Cat!

So here's a picture where I've fiddled around with the line work again. I really like this style, and I haven't located my previous cat images, so I thought I would just draw a new one. I've adopted the speech bubble specifically from my Edgar project, and I feel that it definitely wont be the last time that I will do so. I have definitely fallen in love with it.

Enjoy!
